And they consume waste floating through the water, as well as unwanted floating algae, such as any green water. They use two siphons to filter your water, one in and one out. Very simple, to the point janitors, daily cleaning of the water through each and every clam.These clams will reportedly live for 25 years.They do not need any special light.
